Exceeding legal standards can have a large impact on a producer and product distribution, and can even lead to product recall and subsequent product destruction. Such actions damage the image of the producer, which goes hand in hand with economic loss. The reference working should therefore enable the stakeholder himself to deliver correct analysis results for appeal or for access to correct analysis results. Moreover, reference working makes correct and independent assessments of threats to public health.
