Diagnostic Centre for Plants (DCP)

If an individual or company suspects the presence of a plant harmful organism, samples of plants and plant products, soil, and water may be brought to DCP for analysis. Samples from bulk products, warehouses and private residences are also accepted. In each sample, bacteria, fungi, mites, insects, viruses and nematodes are isolated and identified or detected using the most appropriate and best-performing techniques. DCP analyses are available to growers, consultants, private customers, research facilities and government extension services.
