Duration of the analysis
The duration of an analysis depends on the number and type of analyses requested. For more information, contact Johan Aerts.
Application of analyses
Bids for one or more analyses can be requested from the lab’s contact person. When applying for a group of analyses, price reductions can be granted on the basis of the number and type of analyses requested.
At the client’s request, the ANIMALAB can perform sampling for one or more samples related to an analysis.
Transportation of samples
At the client’s request, the ANIMALAB can transport one or more samples related to an analysis.
Delivery and receipt of samples
All samples are preferably presented to the ANIMALAB during office hours: Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. and between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Without prior notification, the reception of samples outside office hours cannot be guaranteed. Samples presented outside regular office hours can only be received after the person in charge of the contract concerned has been notified in advance and after having received his or her written consent.
Storage of samples
All samples received by the ANIMALAB are stored at the proper temperature in especially equipped ANIMALAB facilities from the moment they are received up to their analysis, irrespective of their nature or origin.
Analyses of samples
All analyses are carried out by specialised staff in keeping with the listed methods for each laboratory. This includes various quality controls.
Evaluation of analysis results
All analysis results are evaluated by the person in charge of the laboratory, using set quality criteria.
Treatment of samples
After the approval of the analysis results, the samples are handled as stated in the contract. If samples are to be stored, this is done at the proper temperature in especially equipped ANIMALAB facilities.
Reporting of analysis results
When one or more analysis results are evaluated and approved, these results are officially reported in an examination report. The report is sent by post before expiry of the deadline that has been agreed with the client.
At the client’s request an unofficial/interim report can be sent and the analysis results can be reported digitally in addition to per post.
Invoicing of services
Once all analysis results have been reported to the client by means of an examination report, an invoice will be sent to this client by post.
The ANIMALAB aims to constantly improve its service. Any customer complaints are therefore handled appropriately and presented to the person in charge of the ANIMALAB.
