ILVO develops decision support models that can help farmers, advisors, policy makers and other stakeholders in their decision making process. These models are the result of a participatory development process that actively involves a variety of stakeholders. This participatory approach results in models that are both scientifically innovative and respond to needs of the agricultural sector.
Developed models are available via a user-friendly web-based interface (www.remiweb.be). After registration, users can use or download the available models. They are invited to provide feedback to the model developers, which allows further fine-tuning and optimisation of the models. Users can run the models with their own data. To assist the users with inputting their data, standard values are included in the models.
